Overview and scope
Hyperfolio (hyperfolio.fun and related apps) is an independent portfolio tracker and trading companion. It is not operated by Hyperliquid, AsterDEX, Robinhood, Lighter, or other exchanges shown in the app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Hyperfolio, you acknowledge this policy.
Information we collect
Account data: if you sign in with email, we process your address through Supabase Auth (one-time codes). After sign-in, your email is stored encrypted in our database. We also store your user ID, language preference, points balance, and market favorites. Wallet and portfolio data: addresses you add across Hyperliquid, AsterDEX, Robinhood Chain, and Lighter; labels you assign; wallets you track; manual assets you enter (symbols, amounts, entry prices, leverage, margin, fees); saved multi-chart layouts; and perp calculator setups. Alerts and engagement: push subscription keys if you enable alerts; sync metadata for trade alerts and TWAP progress; points ledger entries (logins, portfolio views, tracker visits, active minutes, PWA install, referral verification, etc.). Guest use: without an account, a wallet address and preferences (language, currency, privacy mode, favorites, layouts) may be stored only in your browser. We do not collect private keys or seed phrases. Public trading and market data is fetched from third-party APIs using addresses or symbols you query.
Cookies, device storage, and analytics
We use: (1) session cookies from Supabase to keep you signed in; (2) a locale cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) for language; (3) localStorage and sessionStorage on your device for guest wallets, portfolio cache, notification read state, onboarding status, Smart Money cache, and tool preferences—these remain on your device until you clear them; (4) DataFast, a privacy-focused analytics script, to measure aggregate traffic and page usage. You can clear browser storage or block cookies, but some features may stop working. When installed as a PWA, a service worker may cache app files locally for offline use.
Push notifications and PWA
If you enable push alerts, your browser creates a subscription that we store (endpoint and encryption keys) so we can notify you about trades from wallets you track. Delivery uses your device platform push infrastructure (for example Apple, Google, or Mozilla). On iOS, push requires installing Hyperfolio to your home screen (PWA), not regular Safari. You can disable push anytime via the bell control or browser settings. TWAP orders may produce many fills but only one push notification when the order starts.
Points program
Hyperfolio offers an optional points program based on verifiable in-app actions (daily login, connecting wallets, portfolio views, tracker visits, active time, PWA install, Hyperliquid referral use, etc.). We record activity signals including approximate active minutes while the tab is visible and you interact with the app. Points have no guaranteed monetary value and do not confer ownership or rights to future rewards. We may change rules, daily caps, or eligibility filters, and remove points earned through abuse.
How we use your information
We use your information to: provide and improve the service; display aggregated portfolio and market data across venues; sync alerts, TWAP progress, and Smart Money feeds; deliver push notifications; authenticate you and sync preferences across devices; calculate points and eligibility indicators; operate search favorites and saved layouts; verify Hyperliquid referral status for bonus points; show prediction/outcome market data from public sources; respond to support requests; and protect against abuse. We do not sell your personal information. We do not execute trades or access private keys.
Third-party providers and international transfers
We rely on service providers that may process data outside your country, including: Supabase (authentication and database); Vercel (hosting and server logs); DataFast (aggregate analytics); public APIs from Hyperliquid, AsterDEX, Lighter, and Robinhood Chain (wallet addresses and symbols you query); Frankfurter (USD/EUR exchange rate for display only); and web push infrastructure operated by your browser vendor. Each provider has its own privacy policy. Blockchain and exchange data linked to wallet addresses is public by nature.
Sharing features, public data, and retention
Share features: if you share portfolio cards, alert tweets, or images, financial figures and optionally wallet addresses may appear in URLs, images, or posts you choose to publish (for example on X/Twitter)—you control what you share. Public blockchain data: wallet addresses and on-chain activity are public; we store alert events keyed by wallet address (the same public event may appear if multiple users track the same wallet). Retention: trade alert events are pruned after about 30 days per wallet; account data is kept until you request deletion; push subscriptions are removed when you unsubscribe; browser caches expire automatically.
Security, children, and your rights
Security: email is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM); database access uses row-level security; data is transmitted over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Children: Hyperfolio is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Your rights: depending on your location (including GDPR/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your data. You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete account, or email hi@hyperfolio.fun. We respond within a reasonable time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Legal bases (EEA/UK): contract (providing the service), consent (push notifications and non-essential analytics where required), and legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, aggregate analytics).
